Rated at up to 259 V, a lithium-ion battery works well with the 2.5-L gas engine. This powerful battery is synced with an 88-kW motor, which operates on 650 V. Cranking out 149 lb-ft of peak torque, the compact motor provides a rapid boost on demand. This midsize Toyota sedan taps into 208 net hp from the hybrid powertrain. By contrast, the 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid gets a maximum of 204 hp from a hybrid system. This sedan comes standard with a 2.0-L gas engine, which delivers only 146 hp and 134 lb-ft. Both cars have an electronic continuously variable transmission system for efficient handling. You can get up to 53 mpg in the city with the entry-level Camry Hybrid LE edition. The Accord Hybrid offers a maximum fuel economy of 51 mpg in the city. Most of the trims have a combined fuel efficiency of 44 mpg. The Toyota sedan offers a combined fuel economy of up to 46 mpg. You could easily engage the EV Mode for a clean and quiet drive. The Honda trim doesn’t offer an exclusive mode for all-electric driving.

Most of the trims have a conventional sound system with eight speakers. You could get a nine-speaker JBL audio system on the Toyota hybrid sedan. This efficient vehicle even offers a 10-inch HUD.
