The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander receives 245 horsepower from a hybrid powertrain, which includes a 2.5-liter internal combustion engine. Featuring the L4HV valvetrain, the I-4 engine cranks out 175 pound-feet of torque. This full-size Toyota SUV harnesses 265 net hp from a 2.4-L engine with a turbocharged component. Fed by D-4S fuel injection, the turbo powerhouse twists 310 lb-ft of torque. Kicking out 362 hp, the Hybrid Max powertrain is available for this all-new model. When spinning faster than 2,000 RPM, the electrified propulsion unit dishes out 400 lb-ft. This large Toyota SUV has an engineered towing limit of up to 5,000 gross pounds. You can tow such a trailering load with the 2024 Toyota Highlander, which runs on a 2.4-L turbo engine. This modified propulsion system completes combustion as prescribed by the Atkinson cycle. Rated at 243 net hp, a hybrid powertrain is optional on the 2024 Highlander. Both Toyota models offer an electronically controlled transmission or an eight-speed automatic gearbox from Direct-Shift. Only the Grand Highlander is available with a six-speed automatic transmission. These efficient SUVs could be equipped with the Electronic AWD system for range-optimizing trips. Additionally, the Full-Time Electronic AWD gives the Grand Highlander an extra boost in terms of all-surface handling.

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander’s 12.3-inch touchscreen has a high level of digital utility. This large multimedia center comes with intelligent applications that recognize common phrases.
