Performance Features
The 2025 Crown XLE is powered by an internal combustion engine with the latest Dynamic Force technology. Compressing regular-quality gasoline at 14:1, the I-4 engine produces slightly over 180 net horsepower. The base trim gets additional output from two electric motors, which ultimately propel the AWD system. When pushed to the engineered limit, the standard hybrid engine generates just under 240 net horsepower. You’ll find the same hybrid powerhouse on the 2025 Crown Limited. A continuously variable transmission system handles all power from the engine and motors. Both trims offer zero emissions through the EV Mode, which could be used for short-range trips. These hybrid vehicles attain maximum fuel economy with assistance from Eco Mode. You’ll get an EPA-estimated combined fuel efficiency of 41 mpg from each hybrid model. The Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle classification emphasizes the efficient design of the 2025 Crown. An Electronically Controlled Braking (ECB) provides some regeneration of energy on the road. Additionally, the hydraulic brake booster optimizes the durability and performance of the braking system.
Interior Features
Wrapped in leather, eight-way front seats are standard on the 2025 Crown XLE. Such premium seats are also installed on the 2025 Crown Limited. However, this model gets a memory function for the driver’s seat. Both hybrid cars boast heated, ventilated elements in the first-row seats. Leather is fully wrapped around the shifting lever for a better grip. Each model has five USB-C outlets and a 12-V DC port. Power windows with jam protection are standard on these premium Toyota sedans. A dual-zone automatic HVAC system is installed by default on each trim. This modern HVAC unit includes a pollen filter and rear air vents. Each model has a spacious trunk with a cargo capacity of up to 15.2 cubic feet.
Safety Features
The 2025 Crown XLE has the Safety Connect and Service Connect trials for ten years. You’ll get these signature Toyota Connected Services on the Limited. Both hybrid sedans boast the proprietary Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package for greater peace of mind. You’ll receive additional safety technologies on the Limited model, such as the Front and Rear Parking Assist. In fact, the optional Advanced Technology Package adds a bunch of driver-assistance features to this deluxe trim. Thanks to the Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), your commute might be less stressful. You’ll need an active Drive Connect subscription to use the TJA. Some other safety technologies from the bundle include the Lane Change Assist and Panoramic View Monitor with Perimeter Scan. Both hybrid sedans have eight airbags and front seats with whiplash-mitigation technologies.
